Sri Lanka is a place with lots of waterfalls. The middle of the country is where you find most of these waterfalls. This is because the mountains and the rain work together to make the spot for rivers to flow over cliffs. If you like nature you should go see these waterfalls. You will see tea plants, valleys and rainforests.

You can see kinds of weather in Sri Lanka when you go to the waterfalls. Some of the famous waterfalls are near Ella, Nuwara Eliya and Hatton. People like to stay in these towns because they’re cool and nice. From there you can walk to see the waterfalls. Each place is different. Some waterfalls are easy to get to. Some are hard to find.

One cool waterfall is Bambarakanda. It is the waterfall in Sri Lanka. It looks like a ribbon on a big cliff. To get to Bambarakanda you have to drive through a forest. Another big waterfall is Diyaluma. It has steps and nice pools of water at the top. Some people like to hike to the top of Diyaluma and swim in the water.

In Ella there is a waterfall called Ravana Falls. It is easy to get to because it’s near the main road. You can feel the water on your face. If you like places you should go to Laxapana and Devon Falls. They are nice. Have great views.

If you want to see the waterfalls you should plan ahead. The best time to go is after the rain.. Be careful because the trails can be slippery. If you want to swim be careful too. The water can be strong. There may be rocks, under the water. Remember to keep the place clean so it stays nice for people.
